I like BTW, but, like too many Weir tunes, it out lasted it's welcome . In those 72-74 shows , you do get a lot of the same songs . I mean it's one thing to hear Playing almost every show, But another to hear BTW , etc.
At least it didn't get the "Vegas" treatment that Looks Like Rain got in the post Keith & Donna days . He became less, and less, sensitive to the meaning of the lyrics; a modest, and beautiful song of loss, to a lowest common denominator screamfest, "No more Fucking rain "... , etc. If I am making a c.d. and need to clip off a song to make it fit, this is usually a front runner .
